GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
People ask me what's my greatest accomplishment
I say well I don't know I'll have to think on that a bit
Roll it over in my mind time after endless time
Finally have to admit my greatest accomplishment

CHORUS
It's not the money that I made it's not the home run that I hit
It's family and friends that I've made who I love and respect
It's not the parties and the fun or that song that I sung
It's not that game that I won or all the good work that I've done
It's my Dad and it's my Mom it's all the friends that have come
It's my daughter and all my sons who I love and respect
That's my greatest accomplishment

Verse 2
So there you have it in one single breath
It's all these people I surround myself with
Roll them over in my mind time after endless time
Ones I love and respect
My greatest accomplishment

CHORUS
It's not the money that I made it's not that home run that I hit
It's family and friends that I've made who I love and respect
It's not the parties or the fun or that song that I sung
It's not that game that I won or all the good work that I've done
It's my Dad and it's my Mom it's all the friends that have come
It's my daughter and all my sons who I love and respect
That's my greatest accomplishment

Verse 3
It's not that home run that I hit it's those I love and respect
It's those kids that I raised who are men and a woman these days
Who I love and respect
That's my greatest accomplishment
That's my greatest accomplishment

SEND HER ALL MY ANGELS
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
She's usually bright and happy
She's solid and she's strong
But lately she's been a little bit down
Since things started going wrong
Yeah lately she's been a little bit down
And her sky's aren't always blue
And you know how I feel about her
So I thought I'd have this talk with you

CHORUS
So send her all my angels
Let their light keep her spirit free
Send her all my angels
'Cause she needs them more than me
Send her all my angels
I'll be okay and I'll get by
Send her all my angels
'Cause I just can't stand to see her cry

Verse 2
And I really don't know what the problem was
She really wouldn't say
She just tries to be positive all the time
The woman's just built that way
But the lies have been heavy lately
And the darkness just won't go away
Still she tries to fight it on her own
But she needs some help from you today

Verse 3
And when she's feeling good again
And up and on the go
Don't tell her that I sent for help
She really doesn't need to know
You know how I feel about her
She's always an inspiration to me
But if I can't be there in the future
And she needs any help from me

CHORUS
You can always send her all my angels
Let their light keep her spirit free
Send her all my angels
When she needs them more than me
Send her all my angels
I'll be okay and I'll get by
Send her all my angels
'Cause I just can't stand to see her cry
No I just can't stand to see her cry

by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1

But I'll always be a redneck until the day I die

Verse 2

Verse 3
You were from the city extroverted far from shy
You told me right away I was gonna be your guy
You were the prettiest girl around became the apple of my eye

Verse 4
Some say they're sophisticated but you ain't foolin' me
Seems like you like to hide behind your fancy vocabulary
But the country's free be who you are and so will I
I'll always be a redneck until the day I die

Verse 5
Born in the heartland dirt roads corn fields and trees
Raised my kids to be respectful lotsa thank yous and please
Still the prettiest girl around still the apple of my eye

Guess I'll always be a redneck until the day I die
Proud to be a redneck until the day I die

I've got some people there where I can stay
My way I'll make to the head of the lake
Where we're all from Canada eh in Thunder Bay

CHORUS
Pretty sure I'll see those Lakers on the lake
Pretty sure that giant's still not awake
Down Courage Highway there by the bend
Is where Terry's journey came to an end
He was on his way to Thunder Bay
Where we're all from Canada eh
In Thunder Bay

Verse 2
Well if you're going east or west or either way
Pretty good chance you'll go through Thunder Bay

Where we're all from Canada eh
In Thunder Bay

DON'T MISS YOU AT ALL
By Ross Kennedy

CHORUS
Well I don't miss you at all since you've been gone
I would never call but I'll sing this song
I don't cry in my beer all day and my dog's still okay
Let's face it we just didn't get along
And I don't miss you at all since you've been gone
Not one to dwell on it for very long
Pick up the pieces then I move on

Verse 1
Well it all seemed so good when it started
But it went south and then we parted
Well I never think of you and I'm never sad or blue
Let's face it the whole thing was just wrong
And I don't miss you at all since you've been gone

Yeah we can still be friends no need for resistance
Yeah we can still be friends but keep a distance

CHORUS
'Cause I don't miss you at all since you've been gone
I would never call but I'll sing this song
I don't cry in my beer all day and my dog's still okay
Let's face it we just didn't get along
And I don't miss you at all since you've been gone
No I don't miss you at all since you've been gone

NEVER LEFT
By Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
There's a place I can go in my memory
No matter how far that I drift I drift
In my mind I go back to my home town
And it's just like I've never left
Just like I've never left

Verse 2
And it's hey how you doin' and where are you now
And tell us all of the places you've roamed
Hey good to see you remember those things that we did
And how long do you think you'll be home
They treat me like I've never left
Never left
They treat me like I've never left

Verse 3
The landscape has changed in my home town
People and places rearranged
And there's things that are different in my home town
And some things just will never change
They treat me like I've never left
Never left
They treat me like I've never left

Verse 4
And like the old hockey game we shake hands when it's over
Leave all of our battles on the ice
My mistakes are forgotten no grudges are held
Sometimes I wonder how come they're so nice
They treat me like I've never left
Never left
They treat me like I've never left

Verse 5
Probably never again live in my home town
Seems I was destined to drift to drift
Still the people who live in my home town
They treat me like I've never left
Never left
They treat me like I've never left
Never left
They treat me like I've never left

INNOCENT AND FREE
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
Looking back on yesterday
A little slower pace
A lot less work a lot more play
We were innocent and free

Verse 2
And everything was all good news
We hardly ever got the blues
Wish I could go back there
For just a day or two

Verse 3
We were innocent and free
Innocent and free
Is how we used to be
Like summer nights just bein' lazy

Verse 4
Innocent and free
Is how we used to be
Our world hadn't yet gone crazy
Innocent and free
Innocent and free
Is how we used to be
Innocent and free

Verse 5
Fast forward to today
A little faster pace
A lot more work a lot less play
Still we're innocent and free
And if we get the blues
We just turn off the news
And live the life we choose
Which is innocent and free

Verse 6
Innocent and free
Is how we choose to be
Innocent and free
Like summer nights just bein' lazy
And hangin' out with my baby
Innocent and free
Innocent and free
Is how we choose to be
We'll think positively and remain
Innocent and free

THE SILENT MAJORITY

PEOPLE CHANGE AND PEOPLE GROW
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
A mistake was made he told her
Knew now 'cause he was older
Funny how life goes that way
We learn things at a later day

CHORUS
'Cause people change and people grow
I've been there so I oughta know
That people change and people grow

Verse 2
Some souls we have to try and teach
Some souls we need to try and reach
Some souls are greater than our own
We learn from others we have known
That's why people change and people grow

Verse 3
Funny the curves life will take
And we all make a few mistakes
Look back on what we once thought cool
And wonder how we could be such fools

CHORUS
'Cause people change and people grow
I've been there so I oughta know
That people change and people grow

Verse 4
Ten years ago from this day
We looked at the world a different way
Ten years down the road from now
We'll see things differently somehow
Because people change and people grow

You and I we change
You and I we grow
People change
And people grow

PASSING IN THE NIGHT
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
We were two ships passing in the night
I could have danced all night long you were there with me
I just loved that song it's plain to see
Then I turned around and found you were gone
It was fun but it wasn't meant to be

CHORUS
Like two ships on the sea passing in the night
We weren't meant to be we just flashed our lights
It'll dawn on us later in the morning light
We were two ships passing in the night

Verse 2
Well it's a great big old world and a great big sea
So what were the chances you'd be here with me
We dared not get much closer or we might collide
Like two ships passing in the night

Verse 3
We could have danced our life long you and me
Played that old song but then we'd see
It'd dawn on us later when we saw the light
We were two ships passing in the night

CHORUS
Like two ships on the sea passing in the night
We weren't meant to be we just flashed our lights
It dawned on us later in the morning light
We were two ships passing in the night
We were two ships passing in the night
Passing in the night

ELECTRIC BLUE
by Ross Kennedy

Verse 1
I didn't meet you in a bar room I didn't meet you at the dance
And it wasn't by coincidence and it wasn't circumstance
But when I saw those electric blue eyes talking to me like they do
I don't know what you're doing in my life but I know what I'll call you

CHORUS
Electric blue is what I'll call you
Electric blue personality too
Electric blue I'm gonna love you my life through
Electric blue

Verse 2
When I get past those electric blue eyes a first class lady's what I see
I really love your shy smile and your open sensitivity
Still I love those electric blues keep them talking like they do
I don't know how many lifetimes we've been in but in this one I'll call you

CHORUS
Electric blue is what I'll call you
Electric blue personality too
Electric blue I'm gonna love you my life through
Electric blue
I'm gonna love you my life through
Electric blue
